South Korean investors runs new service apartment

(KPL) Heung Hwa Industry Apartment, a service apartment establishment, which opened for business on 31 July, targets tourists and businessmen as its clientele.
This US$9 million South Korean venture in Sokpaluang village, Sisattanark district, Vientiane Capital, has 64 bedrooms, a sport centre, a swimming pool and a spacious car park.
The President of the Lao National Tourism Administration, Mr. Somphong Mongkhonvilay, who spoke at the opening ceremony on 31 July, said that this apartment complex can accommodate one hundred
tourists.

Since early 2009, 1.7 million foreign tourists visited Laos and spent an estimated US$250 million, said Mr. Somphong.
General Director of Heung Hwa Industry, Mr. In-Koo Jo said that in the near future his company planned to build a much bigger service apartment complex on the same site and it would be able to accommodate 500-600 visitors per month.
