Pakistani President to attend trilateral summit in Turkey


ISLAMABAD, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari will leave for Turkey on Friday to attend a trilateral summit.

Hosted by Turkey, the summit is intended to bring Pakistan and Afghanistan closer and forge stronger bonds between the two countries, according to the News Network International news agencyon Wednesday.

Zardari will meet the leaders of Turkey and Afghanistan in a bid to bring lasting peace to the region. He will also hold bilateral talks with the Turkish leaders to boost cooperation in all areas, said the report.
